• Connecting students and families with necessary resources and services;
• Collaborating with teacher, administrators, parents, and other professionals to support student well-being;
• Providing counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns;
• Responding to crisis situations and providing immediate support;
• Create a welcoming environment where every student feels respected and supported; And
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance skills.

 

 

Job Qualifications

Candidates must possess NYSED certification as a School Social Worker
