Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging and innovative music lesson plans that align with NYS
• State standards and District curriculum, considering the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our students;
• Responsible for rehearsing the Middle School level chorus;
• Develop a lesson schedule and teach group lessons to vocal students;
• Teach general music or adaptive classes;
• Create a welcoming classroom environment where every student feels respected and supported;
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students, including those with varying learning styles and backgrounds;
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student success and well-being; and
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance teaching skills.

Salary Range:  $52,100 - $116,209 (Master's Steps 1-22); $47,072 - $99,337 (Bachelor's Steps 1-22)

Job Qualifications

 Candidates must possess NYSED certification in Music
