Job Description

• Work to support all tennis-related activities;
• The ability to introduce & teach the game of tennis to MS/HS athletes at the beginning skill level;
• Assist with implementation of daily practice plans and overall program organization;
• Work with school personnel to promote the sport of Tennis;
• Provide instruction for athletes not traveling with the varsity program;
• Provide leadership for student-athletes that inspires them to achieve success;
• May take MS/HS athletes and compete against other secondary tennis teams; and
• Successful candidate must be available to work 2:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and be available for matches on Saturday’s.

Job Qualifications

• Prior coaching experience is preferred
• CPR/First Aid and AED certifications
• Concussion Management - certification
• Child Abuse Identification Workshop School
• Violence Prevention and Intervention
• Dignity for All Students Act — Certification
• Professional Coaching License — Preferred
• Fingerprinting
